Fleet Feet Sports is dedicated to help you pursue your goals in running and walking. Whether your goal is to finish your first mile or to run your fastest marathon, our coach, Brett Albers, and his team of mentors will help you get there! 

Fleet Feet Sports prioritizes your health and safety above everything else in our training programs. We will teach you the rules of the road, how to increase your intensity and distance safely, and how to stave off injuries. Training with Fleet Feet Sports ensures you a positive atmosphere, a great support system, and an expert for every question or concern you may have.

Description: Fleet Feet Sports Mishawaka can't offer great training programs without great mentors. If you're ready to share your love of walking and running with others and you've completed the distance before, then apply to mentor! It's a great way to give back and inspire someone.

Program Start: January 2, 2018
Program Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6pm, Saturdays at 8am
Goal Race: Sarah Strong 5k and 10k
Program Fee: $100 excluding race fee
Description: Is it hard to yourself out the door on those cold, snowy days? Do you tend to lose your fitness have to work hard to get it back in time for spring and summer? Want to make winter more-exciting with friends and like-minded people like you? What to score a PR at Sunburst? If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, you belong in Winter Warriors - our super fun, low-key, maintenance program that is designed to help you maintain (and even build on) the fitness level that you earned during the summer while it’s cold and dark this winter!

No Boundaries I & II- Beginner 5k & Intermediate 5k More Info »

Program Start: Event Kickoff is March 11, 2018 at 6pm
Program Schedule: Wednesdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 9am
Goal Race: Sunburst 5k
Program Fee: $85 excluding race entry fee
Description: No Boundaries focuses on beginners, but all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line of your first race in just 12 weeks! It can also help existing runners meet new performance goals. Along the way we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you! No Boundaries II is perfect for someone who's completed No Boundaries and wants to take the next step, but doesn't want to increase the distance. No Boundaries II will focus on maintaining everything you learned in No Boundaries while introducing more speed work and endurance-building.

Program Start: Sunday March 11th at 6:00pm with our Training Program Kick-off event
Program Schedule: Mondays at 6pm, Saturdays at 8am
Goal Race: Sunburst 10K
Program Fee: $85 excluding race entry fee
Description: The No Boundaries 10K Training Program is for intermediate level runners who have completed a 5K before and who want to train for a 10k event. The program is structured to help you cross the 10K finish line after just 12 weeks. Our 10K training is perfect for No Boundaries 5K training alumni who are looking to take the next step in their training. It is also geared to accommodate runners with 5K experience who are looking to increase their distance. Along the way we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus you’ll have the camaraderie of others training with you!

SB Distance Project (Half-Marathon Training) More Info »

Program Start: Training Kickoff Event is March 11, 2018 at 6pm
Program Schedule: Tuesday at 6:00pm, Thursday at 6:00am and Saturday at 7:00am.
Goal Race: Sunburst Half-Marathon
Program Fee: $110 excluding race fee
Description: The SB Distance Project is the premier distance training program in the Michiana region. By partnering with local health professionals, product vendors, and Fleet Feet Sports Ambassadors, our training groups provide an unparalleled training experience. Whether you’re a seasoned half- marathoner or looking to do your first race ever, this group is designed to help you conquer your goals and reach the next level. Spring training starts with our Training Kickoff Event on Sunday, March 11th at 6:00pm. For the remainder of the program we will meet every Tuesday at 6:00pm, Thursday at 6:00am and Saturday at 7:00am. This group is open to runners and walkers of all paces. We will be training for the Sunburst Half Marathon, but we are able to make personalized adjustments for you if you’re training for other spring races scheduled in May and June.

Early Risers Speed Training More Info »

Program Start: Sunday March 11th at 6:00pm with our Training Program Kick-off event
Program Schedule: Thursdays at 6AM
Program Fee: $25 add-on price for No Boundaries 5k & 10k Participants, $40 as stand-alone program
Description: Early Risers Speed Training is a weekly speedwork program designed to help intermediate and advanced runners increase speed and strength with track workouts and speed training. Early Risers is perfect as an add-on to your current training as well as a standalone training option!
