Make It a Mile is a 4 week walking/running program designed to help beginners take the first steps to getting healthy by completing one mile. This is the perfect introduction to our training programs! The program includes a safe, guided training plan designed to allow you to work at your own pace in a non-threatening, non-judgmental environment. At the end of the 4 weeks, you'll be able to complete one mile with a healthy, happy, and strong feeling! We encourage participants to exercise at their own comfortable pace. Participants of this particular session will have the added bonus of use of the Memorial Health and Lifestyle center before and after each practice! If you are already a Memorial Health and Lifestyle Center member, you can sign up for this program free of charge!
